| | PUMA II Police Special Digital Recorder
Designed for Police Officers
The PUMA II Police Special Digital Voice Recorder is truly designed for law enforcement. With One-Button recording it allows the officer to easily activate the recorder without losing focus of their current situation. Compared to any recorder of it size the PUMA II has the largest record button making it easier for the officer to engage. Additionally, each time they press record on the PUMA II, a separate audio file is created, allowing easy management and retrieval of each citizen contact.
Secure and Non Editable: PUMA II has no editing modes such as append, overwrite and insert in order to protect the integrity of the original recording. The elimination of these recoding modes will help qualify them as evidence or for use in court proceedings. In addition all recordings are date/time stamped and branded with the officer’s ID for ease of identification and tracking.
Superior Sound: Greater sound quality for recording has been achieved with the PUMA II with its new audio format (WMA) and recording modes. Noise Cancel and Voice Filter functions will cut background noise and enable clear audio playback. In addition the superior sound quality will meet the requirements needed for Stress Analysis Software programs, which will be offered in upcoming versions to the “PUMA Management Program”.
Longer Recording Time: With The new PUMA II Digital Recorder you can record nearly 67 hours of continuous recording time in LP mode with 256MB of internal flash memory. The PUMA II also features a Longer Battery life that gives the officer up to 32 continuous recording hours.
Delivering Style: PUMA II is a compact, lightweight recorder weighing approximately 2.8 oz. with batteries. Its new metal construction provides higher durability and a longer life. A custom designed PUMA Police Holster is available in basket weave or smooth leather – with spring clip for the Sam Browne. The holster is constructed with KYDEX for added durability to protect the PUMA II Digital Recorder while the openings provides for one-handed operation.
